Redshift Devs have confirmed 2080 and 2080ti base support is already supported in RS 2.6.23 using CUDA cores only. Optix RTX support for RT cores won't arrive until RS 3.0.

Currently, a single 2080ti without RTX support is a slight ~5% faster than a Titan V on the RS Benchmark scene and it is ~40% faster than a 1080ti and 105% faster than a single 1070.

(keep in mind the CPU variances will change results a few % but overall this gives a good indication that even without RTX support the performance is HUGE on a single card basis.)
